Terms and conditions of Business. |

These terms will apply to all
contracts made with James First Ltd and its agents unless otherwise agreed by
us in writing. Where we acknowledge details of
your reservation please verify the details and advise of any necessary
changes. To complete a booking please
send written confirmation and give at least one day’s notice of amended
schedules or cancellation. Parking, toll and ferry costs,
as well as sundries supplied will be added to your account. A 50% surcharge will normally apply between
Payment, by cleared cheque or
cash, is due in advance unless a 14-day account has been established
beforehand for which appropriate references will be required. For continental trips and hire periods
exceeding 24 hours we usually require an advance payment. Payment by Visa or Mastercard
can be accepted during normal office hours and will be subject to a 3%
surcharge. We cannot accept other
payment cards. James First will be pleased to
discuss journey timings and recommend schedules, and will make every effort
to meet your requirements but neither we nor our insurers will accept
liability for any delay, cancellation, consequential loss or inconvenience. Our chauffeurs have ultimate
responsibility for the safety of passengers and are authorised to refuse any
duty they consider might prejudice the safety or well-being of passengers,
our vehicle or themselves. The cost of rectifying damage or
excessive soiling caused by passengers, and any
losses arising as a result, will be added to your charges and this will
notified to your passengers at the end of the hire. For your peace of mind, James
First Ltd., its vehicles and chauffeurs are insured for passenger and public
liability. Copies of these documents
are available on request. When our chauffeur drives one of
your vehicles you are responsible for providing insurance cover. All passengers are
required by law to wear seat belts and
